Laboratory technicians and examiners

IAFSM will provide opportunities to witness first-hand the latest technologies that can aid experts in measuring tool marks, skeletal remains, bomb fragments and the like in 3D for further analyses. Members will be able to share ideas and techniques with other experts from around the world, and will have the opportunity to teach or aid in sharing their knowledge through classes offered through IAFSM. Members will be able to establish committees and to advance the research and development of new techniques through the hardware and software developers.

A quarterly newsletter will be coming in 2007. This email newsletter will help IAFSM members stay on top of the latest developments in forensic and security metrology around the world, and will give members a venue to publish articles on current events, their usage of new technologies and their results.

An international users' group will be available for sharing techniques and ideas. IAFSM will enable users to gain direct access to major hardware and software developers to share their requirements and help influence future development.
